WELCOME TO RIGHT SPIRIT
The mission of this website is quite simple – to inspire and empower leaders who are called by the gospel to change the world. The spirit that will drive this website is the spirit of elamwicalu – a spirit emanating from the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, a spirit filled with unshakeable hope and courage, a spirit with youthful wonder and inquiry that assists us to see what we could not previously see, dream what we could not previously dream, and be willing to work for what we may have deemed impossible. As elamwicalu, the right spirit is thus a transformative spirit.
The content of this site includes:
BLOGS - I will provide an honest and prophetic word on matters of the church, the culture, and the world. At the same time, I will offer an apostolic voice of hope and promise that calls us to participate and lead with joyful engagement and expectation because the tomb that held our Lord Jesus Christ is empty and because God has already overcome everything that would fragment us, cheapen us, or crush us. These blogs may come from my own voice or from the voices of others whom I have invited to add to this site’s conversation.
LEADER EQUIPPING – This will be my coaching section of the website. I will attend to leadership theories and practices that will both inspire and equip the leader in the church. By leader, I am not referring to the pastor. I am referring to anyone who puts on the mantle of leadership in whatever form it may be.
FOR THE PREACHER – From time to time I will offer exegetical assistance and helps for proclamation on texts pastors are called upon to preach.
